A NEW AMERICAN MUSICAL
In the sweltering, tear-gas-choked summer of 1968, a working-class Chicago police sergeant and his radicalized college-student daughter find themselves on opposite sides of the barricades during the Democratic National Convention. A gripping, multi-perspective theatrical exploration of civic power, family loyalty, and generational collision. No easy villains, no simple answers — just Chicago, on the one night the machinery broke.

Dreamer
FULL-LENGTH BIOGRAPHICAL MUSICAL
Walt Disney didn't wish upon a star — he built the machine to catch it.
The Social Network meets Sunday in the Park with George. Before the tech titans, there was Walt Disney — inventor of audio-animatronics, pioneer of the multiplane camera, the man who bet everything on a cartoon mouse. Dreamer looks beneath the "Uncle Walt" persona to find a man wrestling reality into the shape of his imagination, from the loss of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to the gamble of Snow White and the chaotic birth of Disneyland. Dreamer is not a fairy tale. It's a blueprint.
Rainbow City
FULL-LENGTH MUSICAL . CHICAGO WORLD'S FAIR CYCLE (I)
Chicago, 1933 — a city flat broke throws the greatest party the future has ever seen.
The first chapter of a sweeping cycle on Chicago's World's Fairs. As the Depression grips the nation, the Century of Progress rises on the lakefront in a defiant blaze of color and ambition — and Rainbow City asks what it costs to build hope, and what it's worth.
The Century of Purpose
FULL-LENGTH MUSICAL . CHICAGO WORLD'S FAIR CYCLE (II)
Chicago, 2033 — a century on, the city dares to imagine the next great fair.
The cycle's leap forward, closing the loop opened in 1933. A companion to Rainbow City, it weighs the grand expositions of the past against the future they promised — and the people still building toward it. We built the future.

Love & Pieces
50,000 fans came to the Everglades for the concert of a lifetime. The gators and pythons RSVP'd too.
FEATURE THRILLER - GENRE / STREAMING
A storm, a sold-out swamp concert, and 70,000 things with teeth. Love & Pieces is a high-velocity disaster thriller built squarely for the action and horror genre crowd — pure, relentless, crowd-pleasing chaos.
A B O U T
Marshall R. Goodman writes about American power from the inside.
A Chicago native, he spent four decades as a professor and senior university administrator — work that put him in the rooms where civic institutions are built, funded, and fought over. He helped bring Florida's twelfth state university into being and, as a business-incubator director, guided more than ninety young companies.
That proximity to power — to the machinery of cities, campuses, and capital — is what grounds his work. His musicals and screenplays return again and again to the collision between the street and the establishment, written with historical rigor, real human stakes, and one guiding conviction: no easy villains, no simple answers. He doesn't write about institutions from the outside looking in. He writes from the room.
